My Experience
Richard Wolff has over 25 years experience working in direct to consumer retail and consumer goods. He was the co-founder and former CEO of Javelin Group, a specialist digital retail and consumer consultancy that was acquired by Accenture in 2015. Javelin Group provides strategy, customer experience, marketing, commercial due diligence, operations and technology services for retailers, brands and consumer goods businesses in the UK and internationally. Richard was joint-Head of UK Retail Strategy and on the Global Retail Strategy Leadership team at Accenture. After retiring from Javelin/Accenture in January 2021 Richard is now a non-executive director at Paws Holdings, an Advisor to the Board at more2 and mentors several startups and early stage digital businesses. He also works with private equity providing commercial due diligence.

Developing 5 Year Omni-Channel Strategy
The client was a leading blue chip retailer and wanted to set out its 5 year omni-channel plan. I led a team that developed the client's customer proposition, customer experience, its online performance marketing plan and operating model. We set out how its operations, technology and organisation needed to scale to accommodate the planned growth and developed a detailed financial model to highlight the key drivers and milestones of the plan.

Creating a Multi-Brand, Omni-Channel Model
The client was a leading global multi-brand luxury business looking to develop its omni-channel operating model and organisation. I led a team that set out how the brands should be organised, the roles to be carried out by the group and the roles within each brand at a central and market level. We identified all the key roles required and the cost of developing the omni-channel organisation.

I have worked with many private equity & VC businesses on both buy side and sell side due diligence evaluating the target's business model, customer proposition, technology roadmap, management plans and financial forecasts. Recent clients on the buy side include Bridges, Livingbridge and Gresham.
